Export Email data from Comcast to Gmail using IMAP

An App password will need to be enabled to export emails to Gmail. Please follow this guide to export your emails to Gmail.

Step 1: Navigate to the Account settings of your Gmail Account, or please use this link and click on Security

Step 2: Look for App Password. If it's not on a screen, please use the search bar

Step 3: Create a name of your choice for the application

Step 4: Save the password provided

 Step 5: Navigate to the Export Portal. 

Step 6: Authenticate with your Comcast Email Account

STEP 7. Choose Gmail

STEP 8. Enter your Gmail Email Address

As a password, please use the password from STEP 4

STEP 9. Choose Email

STEP 10.  Start Export on the next step

Step 11. Export status

An Export ID is needed to check the status of the export.

You can check your Export Status with your Export ID at the Export Portal.
