How do I export email data from Comcast.net to Gmail using IMAP?

An App password will need to be enabled within your Google account to export emails to Gmail. Please follow this guide to export your emails to Gmail

Step 1: Navigate to the Account settings of your Gmail Account and look for App Password under the Security tab. You can also search App Password in the search bar and select “Use or fix App Password” and follow the prompts in the help article provided. Or, use this direct link, to App Password and login to Google if prompted.  

Step 2: Create an app name

Step 3: Save the password

Step 4: Navigate to the Export Portal

Step 5: Authenticate with your Comcast.net email address

STEP 6: Select Gmail

STEP 7: Enter your Gmail Email Address

As a password, please use the password generated in STEP 3

STEP 8:  Start Export
